Edina Basketball Association in partnership with EHS Varsity Coaches Jaime Gaard Chapman and Joe Burger have created the Hornet Skills Challenge. Unlike the 10,000 Shot Challenge which focuses on quantity reps, the Hornet Skills Challenge focuses on quality reps to improve shooting mechanics, ball handling, footwork, and your player's all-around game. In support of this, we have created a skills workout using drills recommended by our varsity coaches. It’s important to ‘get shots up’ during the summer, but it’s even more important to develop good habits using proper technique in order to best utilize the time spent mastering the fundamentals.
