COVID-19 Update


The EBA has updated its COVID-19 Plan and posted to our COVID-19 webpage for your reference.

We are committed to providing safe and healthy spaces for all our coaches, volunteers, staff members, and participants. The EBA will follow Edina Public Schools guidelines for athletics and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) decision tree for addressing COVID-19 concerns. If you have questions on the Plan, please contact our COVID-19 Committee Chair, Giovanna Ingram at  .

House and Rec Registration

Registration for our House and Rec Programs is now open! House and Rec Programs are intended for players of all abilities who want to have fun playing the game of basketball. These programs are open to boys and girls in grades K-12 who live in or attend school in Edina. For detailed information click on either the HOUSE PROGRAM or REC PROGRAM tab above and navigate to the appropriate grade level for your player. CLICK HERE to register your player.

K-8th Grade Open Gym


The EBA will be hosting Open Gym for Grades K-8th Grade on Sundays (except 09/05) during the months of August and September. All sessions will be held in the City Gym at the Edina Community Center. Please enter and exit the ECC using Door 8. All players must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during Open Gym. CLICK HERE for the schedule and your player's grade level timeslot. Open Gym is being provided so players can work on their basketball skills. Full court and half court pick-up games are prohibited.

Travel Registration

Registration for the Travel Program is now open! Travel is intended for players with more advanced skills who wish to compete against other communities at the highest level possible. This program is for boys and girls in grades 4th-8th who live in or attend school in Edina. Tryouts to determine team selection will take place in late September. Hoop Dreams Start Here

The EBA is thrilled to have partnered with Mike Nelson and the EHS boys' and girls' basketball programs to bring you Hoop Dreams Start Here. As you can see, we are passionate about our hoops and we hope this video helps get your family fired up about the upcoming season. No matter what your son or daughter's basketball goals are, the EBA has a program for them. Registration opens on 8/1 for our Travel Program and 9/1 for our House and Rec Programs. We look forward to having everyone back in the gym this year!
