House & Rec Coaches Still Needed
The EBA’s House and Rec Programs are parent-coached programs which require nearly 200 volunteers annually. Parent coaches serve as ambassadors for these programs, creating a fun, safe and positive learning environment for all players. The EBA expects its coaches to embrace the idea that they are important role models and that their positive actions will have a lasting impact on their players. If you share this mindset, we hope you will consider coaching this season. CLICK HERE to register. Please note: all coaches must pass a criminal background check each year and complete child safety training and concussion certification once every three years.

House & Rec Coaches Clinic
The EBA will be hosting a Coaches Clinic for our House and Rec Programs on Saturday, November 18 at the Edina Community Center in the Main Gym. Like last year, the clinic will be split into two sessions with a K-3rd grade session starting at 9am and a 4th-8th grade session starting at 10:30am. This clinic will be facilitated by former High School and College Coach, Chris Clark. Chris has been involved with the EBA for several years, coaching his daughters’ House and Travel teams, so he is very familiar with the with the role you will be playing as a coach for your son or daughter’s team. We hope you can make it!

Senior High Rec Program
Registration for our 9th-12th Grade Rec Programs will remain open until Thursday, November 30. “Senior High” Rec is for boys and girls who aren’t participating in their high school programs, but still enjoy playing the game of basketball. We hope your son or daughter will consider joining this fun program this season. For more information click on the Programs tab at the top of the EBA homepage and navigate to the Rec page and select either 9th-12th Grade Boys or Girls. Otherwise, CLICK HERE to register.

Timberwolves & Lynx Holiday Clinic
We are pleased to announce that the EBA is partnering with the Minnesota Timberwolves organization again this season. As part of this relationship, the Timberwolves & Lynx Academy will be hosting a Holiday Skills Clinic on Saturday, December 23 at the EHS Activity Center. All campers will receive a City Edition Jersey plus a chance to win exclusive Wolves & Lynx prizes. There may also be a special guest appearance by everyone’s favorite mascot, Crunch! The Holiday Clinic is open to players in 3rd-7th grade. Be on the lookout for registration information in early November.

K-8th Grade Open Gym
Additional Open Gym dates have been added to the calendar for months of November, December, January, and February! CLICK HERE for dates and times. Open Gym will be held in the City Gym at the Edina Community Center unless otherwise specified on the website. Open gym is being offered so players can work on their basketball fundamentals. Full and half-court games are prohibited. All players must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Keep Hoop'n everyone!
